About Racheal Leigh
With over 15 years of dance experience in various styles, it wasn't until 2009 when Racheal Leigh discovered a love and passion for Bollywood Dancing that she never had with any other dance style before. Within six months of intensive learning through dance classes and performances, Racheal was asked to teach a Beginners Bollywood dance class which led her to realise she loved teaching as much as she loved dancing.
With the increase in popularity of dance-style exercise / aerobic classes, Racheal wanted to create her own version using Bollywood dancing. A dance class which focuses more on keeping you moving rather than teaching you an actual dance. You'll still learn some fun beginners Bollywood dance-style moves, but in a dance class that will get your heart pumping and your feet moving!
Racheal's qualifications and training include a Certificate 3 in Fitness (Group Instructor), Certificate 4 in Fitness (Personal Trainer), Certificate 4 in Dance Teaching, CPR / First Aid, and a Working with Children Blue Card (QLD). She has completed various dance medal examinations up to Oscar Level with the Society of Australian Teachers of Dance (www.satd.com.au); and is a current member of AusDance QLD, FitRec, & Physical Activity Australia.
